Crispy Tofu with garlic and oyster sauce

I find that coating with cornflour on hard tofu make it really crispy. I just drizzle oyster sauce and garlic on it.

Turn out pretty nice...but the tofu taste very chemical and weird. Seems Oz standard drop liao. See my other tofu dishes...here and here.

Succulent Grilled Chicken Wings

Today, Woolies (Woolworths) sale of chicken wings going at $2.29/kg (usual $4.29/kg). Usually, I shop for chicken wings at Woolies cos is cleaner as compared to the chinese butchery. ALDI don't sell chicken wings, only drumstick...

Mai tu liao, quickly buy 2kg ....going to grill them...and set aside the rest. These chicken wings are marinated in soy sauce, chinese wine, sesame oil, salt, oyster sauce and some chilli powder.

MMm, come out just right juicy....and succulent...slurp!

Wrapped egg in fried bread

I try a new way of making Bombay Toast unlike the conventional way which I make last time. Can see I love hot sandwich a lot too....heating of bread. Another reason is cos my bread is kept in fridge.

Tip: Keep bread in fridge to make it last longer.

For the bread, I cut out the skin of bread to use the inside. Add some oil, just crack the egg over flat pan. Sprinkle some hotdog or cheese. Then, place the bread on top. Turn to fry bread on other side.

The difference is that I do not stir the egg but leave it.

Tip: Don't throw the bread skin as they can be used to make crouton later.

Result: Looks and taste a bit like roti prata or roti john but with the crispiness of fried bread.
